Ella is now 3 and seeming so grown up! She talks like there’s no tomorrow and listens to what she wants to hear! 3 is a tough age, but a lovely one- she’s great company and so funny, but wants to be so independent which can be frustrating for us both, although I do love to encourage her, sometimes it’s just easier and quicker to do things yourself!
Ella is generally a good eater, she went through a really fussy stage when she was around 18 months until she was about 2 where she’d have more or less the same meals each day but we’re past that now and she will eat a wide variety of foods including fruit & veg and is usually willing to try new things, however she does have a very sweet tooth and loves sweets & lollies!
Ella has been through some big changes in the last year- becoming a big sister, starting nursery and potty training to name a few! She has taken it all in her stride and I am so proud of her for that.
Nursery has 100% helped with Ella’s confidence, she is more willing to be around people she doesn’t know very well and it doesn’t take her so long to get used to people and build relationships. She loves nursery and has formed new friendships with other children she didn’t know, as well as trust with the ladies who work there.
We recently took one of the sides off of Ella’s cot, replacing it with a bed guard and introducing the ‘Gro Clock’ in the hope that she’d start sleeping in her own bed- so far, not so good! 😂 Most nights she is sleeping in her bed until between 2-4 am which is an improvement, but we are yet to get her sleeping in there all night! Any tips would be great!
